Very good knockoff of a $500 mud master. My second one as the movement stopped and costs of replace less than repair.So - first and foremost, it's a very handsome watch. Not too hard to set; took a bit of fiddling but once I figured out the sequence of button presses and made sense of the locations of the A, B, C, & D buttons, I had it set in under a minute. Perhaps my battery is weak - but my LCD display doesn't seem nearly as bright as the photo - I will change out the battery and see if that makes a difference. My biggest concern is the watch strap. Charge $1 more and put a decent band on it. The clasp is made out of really thin, flimsy metal. I don't see it lasting long - and I've already read stories about the band breaking in relatively short order. Hoping I can find a more solid replacement band - but for $20, I guess you get what you pay for. I put them on and they don't come off until they die. In water, dirt, grease, oils gasoline, different solvents and cleaning chemicals you name it. I previously bought Invicta watches because of their claim of being so rugged and tough - waste of money, the warranty sucks and they lasted about 2 months. These watches are inexpensive. I'm on my 3rd one in approx 4 years. The lens is scratched to hell and it is pretty bet up but it's still going. why did I buy another then? I broke the band and it's cheaper to buy another watch than to replace the band. And looking at price and description of the product I bought on sale for Rs562. Delivery was fine , it's looks is awesome. People compare this watch with GShock but there is a difference of earth and sky.Ok now coming to the product ,It functionality is good , timer watch night mode is good . Looks is wooaa.On 12/05/19 I am returning this watch.As in the description it's written 50 MTR waterproof . Which is a false statements. 1st day in swimming pool and its display is gone .Skmei brand is well known for offering affordable alternatives for people looking at buying analog-digital watches. The said watch is heavily inspired from the Casio G Shock mudmaster series. I am not sure if this should be called a copy or a rip-off as these products too have a huge market. Do not compare this with Casio G Shock series as you would be disappointed.Speaking about the watch it came in a nice packaging and arrived on time. The Skmei 1283 model does not disappoint for what it comes for. The build quality and attention to detail is good for the price. It has a dual time display on the home screen which is very convenient for a person keeping track of two time zones. Don't be fooled by the different cities shown on the watch dial as this watch does not have world time feature. The strap quality is good for the price and has adequate adjustment options. The buckle is metal although I am not sure if its is stainless steel. It has passable plastic body and dial buttons, one needs to careful while using them as they feel fragile. The caseback is metal too with four screws holding it which is a standard affair in most digital watches. The hours and minutes hands are luminous while pressing light button illuminates the dial with a nice green back light. It has 50 meters of water resistance which is good enough for splashes but not suitable for swimming or any other water sports. Obviously one cannot ask for heaven and earth at this cost.In one sentence, this watch does the job, keeps good time and is value for money.It's really a good product and value for money, my fnd is happy and it looks good on her hand. Go for it. You won't regret buying this..Good
