I bought this watch because the watch(es) I used to own which were analog/digital (for $35) are now out of production and no longer available. (They were cheapo, I understand, and I was happy to buy a new one every 7-9 years.) But I like the way this watch looks, I like the way it feels on my wrist, and I like the fact that it's easily readable and I can see clearly the digital and analog function(s). Two points against: 1) Very complicated functions, not easily understood or executed. The manual is in tiny type and not especially helpful without lengthy study (which you forget the next time you want to use/access a function) and 2) When you have to re-set the watch for a time zone change, or a fall/spring time change, the process is furiously tedious and laborious, one minute at a time. Going forward is not so much a deal, going backward is a very big deal (because you have to go all the way around the dial to get to an hour before where you were). However, try to buy a digital analog watch these days, anywhere, at anything near a reasonable price. You get (or don't get) what you pay for . . .
